Stephen is a senior at McGill University studying Computer Science and Biology. During his 8VC fellowship, he interned on the Machine Learning team at BigHat Biosciences — working on conditional generative protein language models under Hunter Elliott. Previously, Stephen was a founding engineer at Hero AI and published research on generative models for molecular design at MILA. He enjoys hiking, songwriting, and playing pickup basketball in his free time.
