Sarah Zhong graduated from Cornell University in 2026 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering. At Cornell, she was part of CUAir, a student-run engineering team that designs and builds autonomous aircraft. In summer 2025, she was a Jiang Fellow at Strobe Power, developing edge controllers for distributed energy resources in New York City. This summer, Sarah is a Software Engineering Intern at Anduril Industries, where she works on ML infrastructure and workflows to develop and deploy machine learning models. She is especially interested in autonomy, ML systems, and building software that interacts with the physical world. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys thrifting, trying new dessert spots, and swimming.
