Matt is a 4th year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His research interests span germ-line and somatic genetics and he co-founded a digital genetic counseling start-up to improve access to genetics care. Prior to medical school Matt spent time in consulting at McKinsey supporting biopharma clients. He also assisted in the development of next-generation sequencing and CRISPR off-target assays at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Matt received a Bachelors from Cornell, double majoring in Biological Sciences and Applied Economics and Management where he was a Dyson Scholar. Matt enjoys hiking, birding and skiing during his free time.
