Josh is a rising CS junior at Carleton University. During his internship at Vercel, Josh became a primary contributor to Vercel’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) platform, shipping numerous changes across its MCP, API, CLI, and authentication systems. He built workflows that let AI agents deploy applications and connect Git repositories. One deployment tool surpassed 100,000 calls in its first week, and he created much of the platform’s evaluation, telemetry, tracing, and alerting foundation. Josh also led critical integration work with Cursor and Anthropic, including resolving a Claude Code timeout issue, reducing failures to below 0.01%, and unblocking the partner rollout. His work made agent-driven development on Vercel broader, safer, and more reliable. In his free time, he loves running by the Bay Bridge, good food, and playing golf.
