Joshua studied Computer Science & Business at USC. As an 8VC Fellow, Josh supported Campus, a Series B edtech startup. There, he grew usage of Campus's AI tutor and improved student retention by shipping new integrations and building out its outreach and scheduling systems. Josh also built a data pipeline to analyze over 1,000 student interactions, applying both traditional ML and LLM-based techniques to surface patterns and improve the student experience. Prior to Campus, he worked on product and engineering at Uthana, an a16z-backed generative AI startup, and conducted ML research focused on interpretability. Outside of work, he enjoys trying new food and playing pickleball.
