John is a Computer Science and Statistics major from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As an 8VC fellow, he interned at Anduril Industries on a Mission Autonomy team within the C2 (command and control) organization. He worked on optimizing services that run in unreliable network environments and created robust behavior trees to support multi-asset autonomy. Outside of work, you can find John playing tennis, poker, or cooking some steak.
