Jeff Dai is a freshman at Harvard University, where he studies Computer Science and Engineering Sciences, with a focus on mechanical engineering. As an 8VC Fellow, he worked as an early engineer at Antefactory, a deep-tech advanced manufacturing company. His work sat at the intersection of industrial hardware and frontier software, helping rethink and build the technical stack around novel industrial machines. He is interested in a lot of things, from markets to every permutation of engineering. He is drawn to people and ideas that break industry assumptions and create levered value in society. He spends his time hacking on projects, reading, writing and producing music.
