Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, James is now a third-year MD student at Harvard Medical School and MIT. James graduated from Yale with degrees in Statistics & Data Science and Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry, where his research developed deconvolution and processing tools for extracellular RNA-Seq. After graduating, he developed algorithms for molecular analysis of cancer histopathology images at PathAI and for predicting cardiovascular fitness from wearable devices at Apple. In his free time, he loves ballroom and social dance, blitz chess, and Smash Bros.
