Jacob Hornstein is a junior at the University of Austin, where he studies philosophy. He grew up in Woodside, CA, and Chapel Hill, NC, and spent a short time in Tanzania. He enjoys playing poker, hiking, and reading. At 8VC, he is currently interning on the Defense Investment Team, analyzing the technology and commercial viability of companies in energy, national security, manufacturing, and adjacent sectors.
