Isaac Diemer is a software engineering intern at Anduril Industries, where he builds simulated sonar sensors for ML training and software-in-the-loop testing on a platform used across the company’s product lines. The work involves validating these simulations against expected physical behavior and keeping them fast without sacrificing fidelity. He previously spent two summers conducting programming language research at a dental insurance company, and joins SpaceX this fall. He studies Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Michigan, graduating in May 2027. Outside of work, he reads, plays poker, lifts, and listens to an unreasonable amount of music.
