Danial Asaria is a rising senior at the University of Southern California studying Computer Science and Business. He spent his past summer at Anduril working on software for tactical experiences and mission autonomy, and the previous at Snapchat scaling advertiser infrastructure. At school, he is a board member of SparkSC and TroyLabs, the primary entrepreneurship ecosystems on campus, where he helped run USC’s startup incubator and career fairs. He’s also helped lead engineering for HackSC, Southern California’s largest hackathon, and development of Beacon, a map-based social network through USC’s product incubator. Outside of school he’s a 5-Time US national chess champion, achieving the master title at age 11. He’s gone on to found the Asaria School of Chess where he’s taught 500+ students ranging from CEO’s/Hedge Fund Managers to underprivileged youth. Danial is a passionate tennis, and inevitably pickle ball player, an avid reader (among his favorites are Kleon’s, Steal Like an Artist), and in his free time loves to use software as a medium to explore his ideas.
